Our research is focused on the biobehavioral aspects of cancer, including psychological, behavioral, and biological responses. Our studies range from a single session, during which we try to understand and assess a patient's quality of life, to randomized clinical trials, in which we assess and follow patients for a decade. We have many projects running the continuum of the cancer experience, from a patient's initial diagnosis through possible recurrence and survivorship. The majority of the studies involve women with cancer, however our web based research also seeks men with cancer. Our overarching goal is to understand and contribute to the betterment of cancer patients' lives.
