
Elisabeth Yost was born in Oxford, Ohio. After spending several years in the work force in a technical field, she attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. There she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology in 2002, with a double minor of Environmental Studies and Interdisciplinary Arts. During that time she worked with Dr. Mark Alicke, assisting in research focused on social judgment, blame, and behavioral decision making. She then joined the Stress & Immunity Cancer Projects at The Ohio State University in 2003 as a Research Assistant and the scheduling coordinator for the breast cancer project. Currently she is the project coordinator for the Gynecologic Cancer Survivor study, examining the psychological and health related quality of life of long term gynecologic cancer survivors, and is pursuing research interests in that area.
