Tanesha Walker was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. She began her studies at The Ohio State University in 2006 and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2009. While completing her studies there, she became involved in the Office of Minority Affairs Mentoring Program. She also interned at Northwest Counseling Services providing assistance to social workers in the older adults division. Tanesha began working as a Student Research Assistant with the Stress and Immunity Cancer Projects in March of 2009. She is currently working at SICP as a full-time Research Assistant.
