Matt McShane, B.S.
Matt McShane earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Anthropology from the University Of Pittsburgh in 2008. While an undergrad, he assisted part-time in cognition research, and since graduation he has worked in several positions in the psychosocial research field at different institutions. After graduating, Matt took a position at the Veterans Affairs of Pittsburgh, administering and scoring assessments to potential knee-replacement patients. While working at Carnegie Mellon University, he assisted in the design and implementation of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) cognition tasks for children with autism. After moving to Columbus, Matt began working in the James Cancer Center at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where he assisted in recruitment, sample collection, and data management of patients with several types of cancers. In the spring of 2014, he took the position as Data Manager here in the Stress and Immunity Cancer Projects lab.
