David Weiss, B.A.
David Weiss obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. Subsequent to his undergraduate degree, David managed a RCT that evaluated the efficacy of a behavioral intervention on rates of dilated eye examinations in older African Americans with diabetes. He began his graduate studies in the Fall of 2014 in an effort to gain a semblance of expertise in health intervention research. He is interested in whether behavioral interventions can improve psychological factors in addition to increasing healthy behaviors in chronic disease populations. Additionally, he is interested in work that ensures the distribution of efficacious, evidence-based health interventions to clinical and community providers.
